It’s game on as Asia's best dance crews gather to stake their claims to be the Best Dance Crew in Asia' in #AsianBattleground2017?

Winning the top spot in World of Dance 2015, Desi Hoppers is the only team handpicked by the judges to represent India. They are known to put on a high-flying performance each time they hit the dancefloor; blending mesmerizing cultural elements with modern street dance choreography effortlessly. The crew's charismatic swagger and lightning reflexes mark them as one of the most entertaining crews to have graced the Asian Battleground stage.

Despite challenging environments, street dance continues to thrive in The Philippines. The 1st Place winner of World Supremacy Battlegrounds Philippines, Nocturnal Dance Company, is proof of their burgeoning scene, first appearing on Asian Battleground 2015. The 30-member strong crew, consisting of students and working adults, arrived at their name due to their hectic schedules, which forced them to practise at night. The members of Nocturnal Dance Company bond as a family; and a family gets going when the going gets tough.

Hailing from the Land of the Rising Sun is MBS Crew, an ensemble synonymous with the illest street techniques. Each member has travelled extensively to compete at the highest level, with the leader of the crew, emerging as champions in the recent World of Dance. MBS Crew is a force to be reckoned with and is widely expected to snatch the throne.

Formed in 2012, ArtGee is a crew that's truly one of a kind. The South Korean street dance geniuses have a unique way of conveying stories through their dance routines. Using unorthodox song choices and complex choreographies, ArtGee sets themselves apart by having a distinct genre of their own. ArtGee is this year’s heavyweight title contender; bearing titles such as the 1st runner-up in World of Dance 2017. Their enthusiasm and innovative ideas will propel the crew towards a possible victory for South Korea.

Also hailing from South Korea are the rising stars of Zeroback. They have evolved from being casual university friends to a global phenomenon at World Of Dance. They happen to also be the current champions of South Korea. Being one of the youngest crews, they are extremely energetic and are renowned for their bursts of speed and technique in their dance formations. Zeroback's close-knit crew of seven will dazzle with their synchronized rapid movements in their quest to win Asian Battleground 2017.

The first crew to make it through the auditions, Taiwan's ZEROFOUR aims to defend Taiwan's reputation as the Best Dance Nation.The B-boys of ZEROFOUR are known for their energetic moves and impeccable flair that can send shivers down their foes’ spines during the cypher showdowns.

From sunny Singapore comes Rachel and Marcus’ Scrach MarcS - the first-ever duo to qualify for Asian Battleground. This dancing pair has clocked up 9 years of experience and won themselves a slew of trophies. Scrach MarcS' seamless flow and stage chemistry are second to none; drawing attention to every move they bust. The infectiously romantic couple will have to dig deep against the dynamic crews to impress the audience and show the world that quality can triumph over quantity.
