观众吐槽电视直播放错重点
运动员多是远景镜头“人太小”
许多观众不满开幕式上大部分的焦点都集中在表演上，而不是各国的参赛选手。不仅电视直播效果差，就连运动员出场的镜头也几乎都是远景，并没有重点凸显奥运明星。

开幕式的尾声还出现了最大乌龙，大会在夏乐宫举行奥林匹克五环旗升旗礼时，工作人员竟错将旗织上下颠倒，直到开幕式结束，仍未有人发现这个严重失误。

此外，开幕式上的表演也加入了多元性别（LGBTIQ+）的元素，倡导性别平等。其中一段《最后的晚餐》的表演环节，更在全球引起了巨大争议，并且被认为是在侮辱基督教，社交媒体X平台上更掀起了#disgusting的热门标签。

大马代表团镜头太短
网民：拍照都来不及
另一方面，有大批马来西亚观众也纷纷吐槽，开幕式上大马代表团的镜头太短，只有10秒左右，就连拍照都来不及。
马来西亚是第112个登场的代表团，由跳水运动员贝特兰和风帆运动员努莎兹琳担任旗手，带领一众大马代表团成员，身穿设计主题为“马来亚”（The Malaya）的官服亮相。
有网民上传视频表示，在短短的12秒镜头里，就有6名大马代表团的成员是背对镜头的。

本届奥运会开幕式从画面呈现到节目表演，都引起了不少观众的不满，纷纷在社交媒体上发文表示，怀念之前的奥运开幕式。

虽然此次奥运开幕仪式上不尽完美，不过走出户外的开幕仪式，在法国人浪漫基因渲染下，依旧为全球观众送上了一场震撼人心的视觉盛宴。
河流、建筑、桥梁构成了天然舞台，体育、历史、艺术在塞纳河完美融合，开幕式上的每一处细节，都值得让人回味。
