副议长反对政府冻结国会 一众在野议员拍手叫好
国会下议院副议长阿莎丽娜认为，政府在紧急状态期间暂停国会，乃是行政机关阉割立法机关的功能。
阿莎丽娜今日致函总检察长依德鲁斯哈伦，批评政府颁布的紧急状态，导致国会停止，阻止国会议员履行职责。
质问为何不参照他国做法
也是巫统边佳兰国会议员的阿莎丽娜在信中指出，立法机关功能遭到阉割后，行政机关似乎在紧急状态期间掌握无限权力，不受限制地处理国家事务。她感到疑惑，为何马来西亚不能与其他国家一样，可透过减少国会议员人数、善用议会时间，或是播放特别会议等方法照常举行国会。
